It is the most widely used content management system[1] and one of the most popular platforms for publishing blogs and creating websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">WordPress can be used in different ways depending on the hosting environment. Users can download the latest version of WordPress from WordPress.org. WordPress can be installed through package management systems or by deploying ready-to-use, turnkey WordPress appliances that do not require any manual installation or configuration. WordPress can also be installed through the Microsoft Web Platform Installer, which runs on Windows and IIS. The Web Platform Installer automatically detects any missing dependencies, such as PHP or MySQL, and installs and configures them before installing WordPress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advanced users can download WordPress to their own servers and keep it consistently updated using SVN. This allows users to update WordPress easily. Free hosting services such as WordPress.com offer users a simple way to create and manage a WordPress blog without having to install WordPress on their own servers.
